American Country Star™ contests are open to participants who reside in the United States of America, and are at least 13 years of age. Participants under the age of 18 years must furnish proof of parental consent upon acceptance of registration  with American Country Star, and must be accompanied at performance by legal guardian. Contestants under the age of 18 years must have signed parental consent disclaimer furnished prior to any audition. 

Additional offsite auditions and competitions may be held with participating locations authorized by American Country Star Productions, LLC.

Contestants are required to sign a disclaimer acknowledging that contestant is not currently under any performance or recording agreement or contract with any third party. Contestants will be eliminated and prohibited from future competitions upon discovery of any prior performance or recording agreement with any third party. Contestants are required to sign a release form waiving American Country Star Productions, LLC its owners, management, employees, stockholders, sponsors, or agents of any liability, or for any injury or death caused by the contest, or by use of any prize or prizes awarded in conjunction with promotion or presentation of contest. Contestants may be required to provide a valid drivers license or ID upon request.  Contestants may not enter into any performance or recording contracted with third party while competing in contest and or finals competitions.

American Country Star Productions, LLC retains first option to present finalists (top 6) for appearances, recordings, and performances for a period of one year after finals competition  in conjunction with American Country Star. Dates of competitions and finals vary from state to state, and year to year.

Decisions of American Country Star Productions, LLC owners, judges, management, agents, and designates are final.

Payment of all federal, state, and local taxes for prizes and compensation to participants is the sole responsibility of the winner or winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS form 1099 or equivalent for prizes in excess of $599.00 By participating in this contest, the winner or winners agree to have their voice, name, or likeness used in any broadcasting or advertising material relating to this contest without financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of any prize.

Contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $200.00 or greater or which prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by American Country Star. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold American Country Star Productions, LLC, affiliated companies, its officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest.

American Country Star reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of prizes,  which will become effective upon announcement.
